| Objective: The study was to investigate the expression of CXCR3and CCR4and to study thechanges of T cell subpopulation (CD4+, CD8+) to explore their role in the pathogenesis ofCondyloma Acuminatum(CA).Methods: Expression of CXCR3and CCR4receptor on peripheral blood lymphocytes from thepatients of CA and control groups were detected. The distribution of CXCR3and CCR4onCD4+and CD8+were also evaluated by FACS.Results: The percentage of CCR4on CD4++was significantly higher in CA patients than thosein controls (P<0.05); There were no significantly difference in the peripheral bloodlymphocytes level of CXCR3on CD4+and CCR4on CD4+T cells between patients andcontrols (P>0.05); The ratio of CD4+CXCR3/CD4+CCR4was lower in CA patients than inhealthy control. The percentage of CXCR3on CD8+T cells in CA patients was higher than incontrols (P<0.05); the ratio of CD8+CXCR3/CD4+CCR4was higher in CA patients. Theexpression of CXCR3and CCR4on CD4+and CD8+T cells had no correlation. Conclusions: The percentage of CCR4on CD4+and CXCR3on CD8+T cell weresignificantly higher in CA patients. The HPV infection causes CA patients, immune statuschange, which show high expression of Th2and CTL. On the one hand, there is Th1/Th2imbalance in CA patients. The Th1/Th2imbalance might be an important cause for the onsetand recurrence of CA, on the other hand, the high expression of CTL is good to clear awayvirus and prevent from relapse. |
