Purpose: Preliminary evaluation on the basis of improving the lifestyle, theclinical efficacy and safety of the application of traditi onal Chinese medicinetreatment of prehypertension.Methods: The cases of self controlled and prospective clinicalstudies,According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,Screened60cases ofTCM is the wind phlegm, blood stasis waiting or no disease can be identified inpatients with prehypertension.Two-stage treatment.The first phase of4weeks oftreatment given lifestyle intervention,The second stage to give four weeks oflifestyle combined with traditional Chinese intervention.The middle of a two-stageno washout period.Weekly referral,Record subjects before treatment,4weeks,8weeks after treatment, blood pressure values, clinical symptoms, signs, fastingblood glucose, blood lipids (triglycerides, total cholesterol, low densitylipoprotein, high density lipoprotein), waist circumference.Made subjects of therelevant data, the measurement data using a paired t-test, the count data usingpaired X2test, the data entered into the database, using the statistical softwareSPSS13.0.Results:1TCM symptomsLifestyle intervention and lifestyle combined with traditional Chineseintervention compared with a significant difference (P<0.05), and the second stagemore effective than the first stage.2Blood pressureTwo-stage blood pressure compared with the paired t test, P<0.05, significantdifference, indicating that the joint Chinese medicine to improve the lifestyleintervention, have a significant effect on blood pressure.3Outcome measuresAfter a two-stage treatment, the observed indicators by paired t-test was toimprove the lifestyle on the basis of Chinese medicine intervention in prehypertensive patients with fasting blood glucose, triglycerides,total cholesterol,LDL have a significant effecthad no significant effect on high density lipoproteinand waist circumference.4During the test,found no adverse reactions and allergies,safety monitoringand no abnormal.Conclusion:60patients after a two-stage treatment, clinical symptoms, bloodpressure and related risk factors that are significantly lower. Help to improve thelifestyle, combined with traditional Chinese intervention in prehypertensive bloodpressure and related risk factors have a better therapeutic effect, and no obviousside effects.
