| Referring to the theory of total mesorectal excision（TME）, completemesocolic excision(CME) guided the operation from embryonicdevelopment anatomy angle, which could increase the number of lymphnode eliminated without increasing the risk of complications,and at thesame time it could improve prognosis and lower local recurrence rates. Theconcept of CME being used in colon cancer operation was a kind ofinnovation. The technique may become a new standardized surgery.Tolearn about the research progress of the Application of Complete MesocolicExcision(CME) put forward recently in colon cancer operation and itsclinical guidance, this paper collected and reviewed both domestic andoversesa literatures on clinical application and basic research about CME. |
