Object:This study was designed to explore the mechanism of scalp clustery acupuncture to improve learning and memory ability in chronic cerebral ischemic rats by observing the effects of scalp clustery acupuncture on learning and memory ability and the expression of hypoxia inducible factor-! alpha.Method:Sarti’s2VO was used to make the model of chronic cerebral ischemic rats, and methods including Morris water maze,HE and immunohistochemistry were used to detect the ability of learning and memory and the expression of hypoxia inducible factor-1alpha.Result:Statistics showed that the expression of hypoxia inducible factor-1alpha was increased significantly and the ability of learning and memory were improved a lot after4weeks treatment.Conclusion:Scalp clustery acupuncture can improve the ability of learning and memory of chronic cerebral ischemic rats a lot. The mechanism probably related to the increasing expression of hypoxia inducible factor-1alpha after scalp clustery acupuncture. |
