Objective:To investigate Jiaji electro-acupuncture(EA) combined with rehabilitation training on the efficacy of upper extremity peripheral nerve injury. Methods:The patients with peripheral nerve injury which had been clinically confirmed were randomly divided into treatment and control group, a total of59cases, the treatment group30cases,29cases in the control group, both of the groups were6weeks after micro-surgery, and received conventional neurotrophic drug treatment and rehabilitation training. On this basis, to join Jiaji electro-acupuncture in the treatment group, the acupuncture points selected in accordance with segments of the nerve damage, take the C5-T1Jiaji:Musculocutaneous or axillary nerve injury, take C5and C6Jiaji;radial or median nerve injury, take the C5-T1Jiaji; ulnar nerve injury, take the C6-T1Jiaji. Control group, the acupuncture points selected according to nerves in the localdistribution of damage, in principle, located in the injury at both ends site, the musculocutaneous nerve injury, Jiquan(HT I),Qingling(HT2); axillary nerve injury, Jiquan(HT I), Jian yu(LI15); radial nerve injury, take the Jianzhen(SI9), Quchi(LI11), Shousanli(LI10), Yangxi(LI5), Hegu(LI4), etc.; the middle of nerve injury, within the customs, Quze(PC3), etc.;ulnar nerve damage,Shaochong(HT9), Houxi(SI3), Shenmen(HT7), Xiaohai(SI8), etc. Observation and treatment of upper limb movement, sensory abilities, practical functionand electrophysiology. Results:Compared two groups of patients within the group, including basic functions, the utility function, and electrophysiology, have significant differences (P<0.05) between the two groups before treatment were comparable and not significantly different after treatment (P>0.05);Compare the two groups after the treatment efficacy assessment of useful features, indicating the treatment group and control group no significant differences (P>0.05).Conclusion:Jiaji electro-acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training can effectively improve upper extremity motor and sensory function after peripheral nerve injury, the utility function and electrophysiology of its efficacy and local body electric-acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training.
