Objective To explore the relationship between plasma levels of Human cartilageglycoprotein-39,Homocysteine or High-sensitivity C-reactive protein and clinicalphenotypes of coronary heart disease(CHD) and stability of atherosclerotic plaque andseverity of coronary artery lesions and risk of coronary heart disease, such as bloodglucose.Method99cases were recruited in the study, according to clinical manifestations anddiagnostic coronary angiography, divided into4groups:34cases of acute myocardialinfarction(AMI),20cases of unstable angina pectoris(UAP),17cases of stable anginapectoris(SAP) and28cases of the control group, according to coronary angiographycoronary artery lesion number, divided into4groups: normal control group, singlevessel disease group, double vessel disease group, three vessel disease group. accordingto Gensini score, divided into4groups: Gensini score<30,30-60,≧60and the controlgroup. according to whether combined with diabetes mellitus, divided into2groups: thediabetic group, non diabetic group. using enzyme link immunosorbent assay (ELISA)for detection of plasma levels of Human cartilage glycoprotein-39and,Homocysteineor High-sensitivity C-reactive protein, Comparing the difference of Human cartilageglycoprotein-39levels,Homocysteine levels or High-sensitivity C-reactive levelsamong groups, Correlation between serum levels of adiponectin and Gensini score wasanalyzed.。Results (1)The level of HC-gp39,Hcy or hs CRP was significantly higher in CHDthan in control(P<0.01).(2) In patients with coronary heart disease, The level of HC-gp39,Hcy were decreased in turn among AMI group, UAP group and SAP group,The level of HC-gp39were higher in AMI group than in SAP group (P<0.01), nonsignificant difference were found between AMI group and UAP group(P>0.05); hs CRPwere higher in AMI group than in UAP group (P<0.01), patients in UAP group hadhigher serum hs CRP concentrations than those in SAP group (P<0.01); Hcy werehigher in AMI group than in UAP group (P<0.05), the UAP group and SAP groupshowed no significant difference(P>0.05).(3) In patients with coronary heart disease, patients in single vessel disease group and double vessel disease group and three vesseldisease group had higher serum HC-gp39concentrations than those in control group(P<0.01); The level of HC-gp39were higher in double vessel disease group than insingle vessel disease group (P<0.05), non significant difference were found betweenthree vessel disease group and double vessel disease group(P>0.05); patients in singlevessel disease group and three vessel disease group and three vessel disease group hadhigher serum Hs-CRP concentrations than those in control group (P<0.01), The level ofHs-CRP were higher in three vessel disease group than in three vessel disease group(P<0.05), non significant difference were found between double vessel disease groupand single vessel disease group(P>0.05); The level of Hcy were higher in double vesseldisease group and three vessel disease group than those in control group (P<0.05orP<0.01), non significant difference were found between single vessel disease group andcontrol group(P>0.05), The level of Hcy were higher in three vessel disease group thanin double vessel disease group (P<0.05).(4) As Gensini score increased, serumHC-gp39concentrations increased (P<0.05or P<0.01), serum HC-gp39concentrations were higher in Gensini score30-60group than those in Gensiniscore<30group (P<0.05); The level of Hs-CRP were higher in Gensini score<30group and Gensini score30-60group and Gensini score>60group than those incontrol group (P<0.01), hs CRP were higher in Gensini score30-60group than inGensini score<30group (P<0.05), patients in Gensini score>60group had higher serum hs CRP concentrations than those in Gensini score30-60group (P<0.01); AsGensini score increased, serum Hcy concentrations increased (P<0.01), serumHcy concentrations were higher in Gensini score30-60group than those in Gensiniscore<30group (P<0.05), patients in Gensini score>60group had higher serum Hcyconcentrations than those in Gensini score30-60group (P<0.01).(5) serumHC-gp39、 hs CRP concentrations in diabetic group and undiabetic group had nonsignificant difference (P>0.05), Hcy were higher in diabetic group than in undiabeticgroup (P<0.05).Conclusions Plasma levels of Human cartilage glycoprotein-39,Homocysteine andHigh-sensitivity C-reactive protein are associated with the severity of coronary arterylesions and atherosclerotic plaque instability, its Positive correlation between the two.non significant difference were found between serum the concentrations of HC-gp39、hs CRP and glucose (P>0.05); its Positive correlation between the concentrations ofserum hs CRP and glucose.
