Clinical Evaluation Of Shengmai Yangxin Tang In Treating Chronic Heatr Failure

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of ShengmaiYangxin Tang in Treating chronic congestive heart failure. Method:according to the standards into the case,60patients with chronic heart failure were randomly divided into treatment and control groups. Thecontrol groupof30cases were treated with conventional western medicine and the treatment group with30cases were dosed with in Shengmai Yangxin Tang on the basis of the conventional western medicine, and determined clinical efficacy evaluation after four weeks. Underwent the laboratory examination of ECG and blood routine, urinalysis, routine stool, serum electrolytes, liver and kidney function before and after the treatment, respectively. And observed the changes of cardiac function in patients (NYHA functional class, Lee’s heart failure classification),6minutes walking distance, heart color Doppler ejection fraction, stroke volume, E/A, as well as signs and symptoms, TCM clinical syndrome before and after treatment. In orderto evaluate the efficacy and safety. Results:After4weeks of treatment, the clinical study showed that treatment group in the6-minute walk test, integral aspect of Lee’s heart failure than the control group (P<0.05); efficacy of Chinese medicine for individual symptoms:the treatment group in the improvement of individual symptoms than the control group (P<0.05) and can pentad significantly improved TCM syndrome (P<0.05); in NYHA class evaluation of cardiac function, and echocardiogra mphy ejection fraction, stroke volume, E/A treatment group and The control group had no significant difference (P>0.05). Conclusion: the Shengmai Yangxin Tang can improve clinical symptoms and the TCM syndromes, it can increase the six minutes walking distance, improve heart function has the exact effect also, in the chronic of heart failure. But in improving the echocardiography ejection fraction, stroke volume, E/A as well as NYHA functional class, there are no significant difference between the TCM treatment group and the Western medicine one.
