Theoretical And Experimental Study On The Influence Of Specific Immunity Function With Shengmai Tang

Shengmai Tang is one of the famous commonly used recipes. It has been widely researched and applied on the cardiovascular diseases where it has significant clinical curative effect since Yi Xue Qi Yuan created by Zhang jiegu of Jin Dynasty,while seldom been studied on its immunity whatever theory or experiment. The former experiment shows that Shengmai Tang is able to increase the quantity of NK cell,the amount of TNF-α,etc, and it suggests that it can enhance the non-specific immunity function. This task is based on the former results. In the research,Cy was used to suppress the immunity of the rats first,then we observed the effect of Shengmai Tang in different doses on the CD4+cells and CD8+cells and its ratio in rat blood analysed by FACSCalibur using anti-rat-CD4 and CD8 McAb, the concentration of serum IL-2 levels detected by radio immunoassay, the avoirdupois / index /histomorphological transformation of immune organs (thymus and spleen),etc. The purpose of this article was just to study and explore the influence of specific immunity function with Shengmai Tang. Results:CD4+cells counts and CD4+/CD8+ ratio and concentration of serum IL-2 levels were significantly increased after treatment by Shengmai Tang compared with the model group(p<0.01),but CD8+ cells counts were hardly changed; Shengmai Tang groups also increased the avoirdupois and index of thymus and spleen,and ameliorated their histomorphological transformation. As a result,it suggests that Shengmai Tang can also improve specific immune function on immune organ,immunologic,immune numerator from many systems,many levels of structures,many links,many targets. This study explains scientifically about the Traditional Chinese Medicine basal theory"when the healthy energy is full of inside the body,the evil can not invade in","whenever the body is exposed to the evils,deficiency of energy vital must be prensent"and"Treating different diseases with same therapy". In consequence, this study provides guidance significance for clinical practice,and what's more,it offers scientific basis for investigating and appling safe and effective Traditional Chinese Medicine to modulate immunity widely.
