Acupoint Catgut Embedding Therapy For Climacteirc Hypertension And Clinical Study On The Effect Of Estradiol

Objective: To observe the clinical effects of catgut implantation at acupoint in thetreatment of hypertension which is the type of deficiency of YIN leading to hyper activityof YANG,happened in climacteric period. and to compare the dieparity of curative effectwith routine needled.meanwhile to observe the improvement of estradiol.Methods: sixty patients who suffer from hypertension which is the type of deficiencyof YIN leading to hyper activity of YANG,happened in climacteric period were dividedrandomly into treatment group and control group; each has30patients, and were treatedwith catgut embedding in acupoint and acupuncture respectively. Control group needledbilateral Hegu (LI4)，Taichong (LR3), Sanyinjiao (SP6) Quchi (LI11) Taixi（KI3）Ganshu（BL18） and Baihui （DU20）6days a week and rested1day, lasting for4weeks.Treatment group embedded catgut in Sanyinjiao (SP6) Quchi (LI11) Taixi（KI3）Ganshu（BL18）Shenshu(BL23)weekly and lasted for4weeks.then the diversity of symptomblood pressure and estradiol was observed.Results:1. Both the treatment group and control group could regulate the diversity ofestradiol,the interblock variance has not statistically significant.(p>0.05)2. the symptom was improved in the two sets. the total effective rate of the treatmentgroup was93.33%,. the total effective rate of control group was86.67%The goupecomparison has significant difference.(p<0.05) The treatment group surpassed the controlgroup3The two group could release pressure utilitily. There is a statistically significantvariance both in the inner and the interblock group comparison of the posttreatment.(p<0.01) The treatment group surpassed the control group 4.the two group has evident effect in the decompression.The total effective rate in thetreatment group was93.33%and in the control group was80.00%.The group comparisonhas significant difference. The treatment group surpassed the control group5.There is a significant difference in the group comparision of the follow up by phoneAfter3months of the end of the treatment.(p<0.01) The treatment group surpassed thecontrol groupConclusion: Both the group of catgut embedding in acupoint and the group ofacupuncture could decrease the blood pressure,improve the clinical symptoms,regulate theestradiol.However the group of catgut embedding in acupoint surpassed the Group ofacupuncture in the decompression and the improvement of clinical symptoms,and it wasmore convenient and saving time.
