Objective:By the field investigations of occupational health and the determination ofsome chemical and physical factoes in the production process, to analyse and identifythe kinds of occupational disease hazard factors in the denitration system in acoal-fired power plant, to assess the concentration or intensity of some hazard factorsin the workplace in the denitration system, to create the workplace and conditions incompliance with the state occupational-health standard and requirement, and takeappropriate measures to ensure occupational health and occupational protection forthe employer.Methods:1.The field investigation of occupational health had been applied. The contentsof investigation including to make clear the production process in the denitrationsystem, analyse and identify the kinds of occupational disease hazard factors, surveyoccupational disease prevention facilities in workplace, the individual-usedoccupational disease prevention equipments, plan for occupational disease inductiveaccidents, warning mark and the warning message in Chinese at the workplace and soon.2. The spot detection and laboratory test of some main chemical or physicalfactors in workplace had been taken. According to relevant national technicalspecifications and standards, some main occupational hazard factors in the workplacesuch as dusts, chemical toxicant and physical factors were sampled and tested in thecase of normal production condition. And then those occupational hazard factors inworkplace had been evaluated according to the occupational exposure limits.Results:1.After analysis comprehensively occupational hazards in the denitrationsystem, SO2, NOX, NH3, CO, CO2, furnace dust, noise, high temperature woule bedetermined the main occupational hazard factors in workplace to assess factors.2.In the case of normal production condition, the concentrations of SO2, NOX, NH3, CO, CO2, furnace dust in the workplace accord with the requirements of thenationnal occupational exposure limits. The intensity of noise in the workplace accordwith the requirements of the nationnal occupational exposure limits excepting the spotof blowing machine exceed the limit.3.The appropriate measures to ensure occupational health and occupationalprotection in the workplace have been taken. Deployment of associated equipmentsfor individual-used occupational disease prevention and plan for occupational diseaseinductive accidents were effective and appropriate. The warning mark aboutanti-noise, anti-dust were post conspicuous, but the place of the ammonia irrigationdistrict and other toxic gases were no warning billboards and plans of emergencymedical treatment.Conclusions:1.The main occupational disease inductive factors in the denitration system areSO2, NOX, NH3, CO, CO2, V2O5, furnace dust, noise, high temperature. The keypointoccupational hazards in the workplace is NH3,V2O5, furnace dust and noise,.2.The Employer has deploy effective occupational-disease-prevention facilitiesand provide the laborers with the individual-used occupational-disease-preventionarticles. Employer shall publicize the regulations, operating rules, contingencymeasures upon occupational-disease-inductive accidents in the conspicuous bulletinboard.
