| Objective: To investigate the anti-emetic effects of Lianqiao（LQ） and analyze themechanism of anti-emetic effects of LQ. Methods:（1） Established nausea model ofminks induced by cisplatin, apomorphine and copper sulfate. Divided the minks intomodel group, control group and treatment group randomly. Observing and recordingreaction of the minks, the potential period of vomitting, the number of retching andvomiting after they were given cisplatin, apomorphine and copper sulfate in thesubsequently six hours.（2） Using emesis-relating agonists as drugs, the inhibitoryeffects of LQ on guinea pig ileum contractility in vitro were observed in organ bath.Results:（1） LQ can prolong the potential period of the vomitting and decredse thenumber of retches induced by cisplatin, apomorphine and copper sulfate.（2） Waterdecoction of LQ could inhibit guinea pig ileum spontaneous contractions, reducingthe tone of contractions dose-dependently. All the three doses (10mg·mL-1,5mg·mL-1,2mg·mL-1) of LQ could suppress the contractility induced by Ach, His and5-HT,significantly reduced the tone and amplitude of ileum contractions stimulated bydrugs but not the frequency. Both the large doses (10mg·mL-1,5mg·mL-1) of LQ couldantagonise the inhibitory effect of DA, enhance the tone and amplitude. Small dose(2mg·mL-1) had additive effects on tone of ileum contractions with DA, but enhancedthe amplitude not the frequency.Conclusion:（1） LQ has anti-emetic effect on thenausea model of mink induced by the classic emetics mentioned above, and themechanism of action might be related with both center and periphery nervous systemroutes.（2） LQ have an inhibitory effect on guinea pig ileum contractions, themechanism might be blocking M receptor, H1receptor,5-HT receptor and D2receptor or directly suppressed ileum smooth muscle. The mechanisms of anti-emetic effect ofLQ needs further study. |
