The Effect Of IL-1β、TNF-α On The Deficiency Of Kidney And Blood Stasis Type Of Knee Osteoarthritis With Fufangbujin Tablets

Objective:To investigate the effect of Fufangbujin Tablets on serum and joint fluid of the IL-1β、TNF-α level of knee osteoarthritis patients with the type of the deficiency of kidney and blood stasis, and probe into its mechanism and provide a scientific basis for the development and application of our hospital’s preparation.Methods:A total of60knee osteoarthritis patients, who visited to bone-setting clinic and health Fuke outpatient of Zhangzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June2010to June2011and met the criteria of deficiency of kidney and blood stasis type, were collected. They were randomly divided into two groups:namely therapy group which was treated with Fufangbujin Tablets made in Zhangzhou City Hospital of Chinese,and the control group which was given orally by Zhuangguguanjie pills respectively, and the treatment cycle is4weeks. All patients whose level of IL-1β and TNF-α in serum and synovial fluid were determined before treatment and within1week of completion of treatment cycle. The Ⅱ issue of clinical and test plan grading index (WOMAC index) for knee osteoarthritis and Lequence knee osteoarthritis arthritis severity index were improved as indicators, and relevant symptoms and signs were marked, and the effect was evaluated with the related disease curative standard formulated according to (the Chinese herbal medicine new medicine clinic research guideline).Results:1. Comparison of reducing the content of IL-1β-TNF-α in the serum and joint fluid of osteoarthritis knee patients with the type of blood stasis upon Kidney-deficiency:there are differences (P<0.05),which indicated that the curative effect in treatment group was superior to control group.2. Comparison of integral in improving knee pain, joint stiffness, joint activity between the treatment group and the control group in improving knee pain, joint stiffness, joint activity, there are differences(P<0.05),which showed that the curative effect in treatment group was superior to control group.3. Comparison of clinical efficacy:the clinical effect had difference between therapy group and control group (P<0.05), which indicated the effect of therapy group had certain superiority than that of control group.Conclusion:Fufangbujin Tablets may be lowered the level of IL-1β、TNF-α in the joint synovial fluid, and thereby protect the knee articular cartilage and subchondral bone, and improve the symptoms of patients with osteoarthritis of knee.
