Effect Of Wuling Powder On Bra In Edema

Objective:Use Wuling Powder with mannitol as a dehydrator to treat brain edema which due to a variety of pathogens in clinical. Observed if this method can treat brain edema better than simply mannitol treatment then it can make the treatment which combined traditional Chinese and Western medicine become widely used in clinical.Methods:60patients with brain edema were divided in to2groups, in which30patients (treatment group) were treated with Wuling Powder combined with mannitol, another30patients (control group) were treated with mannitol. Before and after the treatment ofbrain imaging, renal function, electrolyte, intracranial pressure, clinical manifestations were compared between the two groups in the a course of treatment.Results:The treatment group of brain imaging show that the volume of brain edema reduced the total efficiency was86.67%,66.67%in the control group,there was a significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05). The obvious remission rate of intracranial hypertension in the treatment group was80.95%,36.84%in the control group (P<0.05). It displays that the damage of electrolyte in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group. But there was not a significant difference between the two groups in renal function.The amount of diuresis in the treatment group was significantly mare than that in the control group. The clinical manifestations improvement rates were86.67%and46.67%, the difference between the two was significant (P<0.05).Conclusion:To compare the preparation of Wuling Powder joint mannitol with simply treatment of mannitol, the first one disinhibit water slowly and can sustain a long time, it have a much better effect to reduce the level of brain edema and can lower the influence that mannitol act on electrolytesn.The effect of preparation of Wuling powder with mannitol is better than simply treatment of mannitol, which is applied to which is applied to dehydration and reduce intractanial pressure. Just because this the method of preparation of Wuling powder with mannitol can improve clinical symptome of those patients who have intracranial hypertension very apparently.
