Objective:To explore the clinical therapeutic effect of health education based on syndrome differentiation for diabetic foot.Methods:60cases of patients with diabetic foot ulcer were randomly divided into intervention group (health education of syndrome differentiation of TCM)30Cases and the control group (routine nursing care)30cases.Both the two groups were given comprehensive treatment and routine health education, the interventional group were added with health education based on syndrome differentiation compared with the control group, and4weeks’ continuous observation was performed. Observation indexes:healing ulcer surface, degree of pain relief, sleep quality and anxiety, length of hospital stay, patients’ knowledge about diabetic foot, the enthusiasm of self-care.Results:(1) In the ulcer surface healing aspects:intervention group and control group before treatment on the ulcer surface basic situation comparison(P>0.05), comparable; But after treatment, the intervention group in rotting flesh pure time, edge of fresh granulation growth time, the basement of fresh granulation growth time were better than control group, the two was statistically difference(P<0.05).(2) In terms of pain relief:intervention group and control group the pain points are reduced but no statistical difference was found between the control group before and after treatment(P>0.05), intervention group before and after treatment was statistically difference(P<0.05), intervention group and control group comparison, pain points reduces the effect of significant difference(P<0.05);The effectiveness of pain relief in intervention group was86.7%, while the control group was60%,the difference had statistically difference with (P<0.05).(3) In terms of improving sleep and anxiety: after traditional Chinese medicine nursing is implemented, the patient’s sleep and anxiety scores significantly decreased, compared with before(P<0.05);Compared with control group, the result of the intervention group anxiety effect is better than that of the control group (P<0.05).(4)Length of hospital stay:the average length of stay of intervention group was (17.25±3.12) days, while the control group was (25.23±5.24) days. There was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).(5)To participate in the foot care:patients in intervention group were more actively involved in the self-care of diabetic foot, mastered more knowledge of foot degree compared with those of the control group with (P<0.05),respectively.Conclusion:Health education based on syndrome differentiation can promote healing of diabetic foot ulcer, relieve patients’ pain, improve their sleep quality and alleviate patients’ anxiety, shorten length of hospital stay and actively promote patients to participate in the prevention and treatment of diabetic foot work, effectively improve patients’ quality of life.
