The Research Of Xu Kun’s Speech In Her Novels

Xu Kun is one of the women writers o f the new generation in early1990s and literature Doctor. She has caused great academic interest forthe large productivity and humorous languages. There has been many novelcomments of her novel, but most of them studied on the literary aspect.Therefore, this paper tries to focus on the linguistics and rhetoric,analysis on the novel collections (including13collections novelette and4river novels). This paper uses a large amount of language instances tostudy on the novel languages from the aspect of language practice, to helpreaders know and understand Xu Kun’s work. In the mean time, through thecase study on the Xu Kun’s novels, to do some beneficial work on the literarycreation, language study and social reality.The paper divides five parts.The first part is the introduction part, which introduces some basicinformations of Xu Kun and sums up the research status of Xu Kun’s novels.And it proposes studying on the aspect of linguistics, and it hasfeasibility and creativity.The second part is the Chapter2, focus on the lexical study of hernovels. This paper analyzes on the use of word in the terms of dialect words,Swearwords and four-character idioms. A large amount of four-characteridioms is the most distinctive feature of Xu Kun’s work.The Chapter3studies on the syntactical structure of Xu Kun’s novels.This part analyzes the choice of the syntactical structure from the useof screed, clause, major clause and symmetrical sentential formThe Chapter4is the figure of speech study on Xu Kun’s novels. Fromthe prospect of figure of speech, there are many things to study becauseof that Xu Kun’s work uses all forms of rhetoric. In this part, it focuseson the comparison, parataxis, hyperbole.The fifth part is peroration, to summarize the main character of XuKun’s novels language.
