Analysis On The Virtue Ethics Constructed In Socialist Market Economy Society

The crisis of moral culture in Modern society ,always attract the academic circle’attention , there are a hundred schools of thought contended to solve this problem .But from the way of response, the thoughts are roughly divided into two points : one is called normativism ,based on the basis of universal rationalism ,which claims that moral is built by external institution ; another is called virtue ethics ,based on the basis of the inner mind order ,which claims that moral is built by the inherent virtue ethics. Market economy is based on the principles of reason and interests, so the normative ethics, such as the deontology and the utilitarian theories, become the dominant ethic pattern of Market economy, virtue ethics which is to be constructed in a market economy is facing with great difficulties and questions. But increasingly serious moral landslides can not only be solved by the system of norms, the crises are more and more come from the disorder of people’s inner mind. As the market economy continually deepened, the moral crisis in our country are increasingly standing out ,although virtue ethics in modern society is facing with difficulties, an existence form of virtue ethics can be established in our country.Therefore, from the following articles on :first part of the paper illustrates the implications and characteristics of virtue and virtue ethics, including explaines the differences among normativism ethics ,confucian ethics and the marxist ethics, which is in order to understand the essence of virtue ethics better. The second part of the paper investigates the problems of moral arise in market economy, through the anti-virtue trend happening in the process of moral transformation, emphasizes the importance of virtue ethics in the socialist market economy. The third part of the paper discusses the difficulties in constructing the virtue ethics in market economy, including the academic difficulties, material difficulties and subjectivity difficulties. The last part is the key point in the paper, although virtue ethics faced a lot of difficulties, socialist market economy society and its particular conditions provides a possible living space for virtue ethics, then, pointed out the principles and basic approaches to construct virtue ethics in the socialist market economy society.
