The Calligraphy And Seals Art Research Of Gu Youquan

Gu Youquan is a famous contemporary calligraphy and seal cutting artist of China, ideas books, culture, knowledge mastery, his calligraphy and seal cutting have remarkable achievements, especially the seal character, once known as "contemporary Deng Shiru"; his seal learns from Deng Shiru, and has a thorough study on Chinese seals and the Ming and Qing schools of scholar seals.This combination work studies mainly in literature research and pictures, and studies through lots of pictures and works of calligraphy and seal cutting of Gu Youquan literature, to interpret his work,specific analyses the styleof inheritance and innovation, pursue the development of calligraphy and seal cutting art flow process, summarize its achievements in the art of calligraphy and seal cutting, objectively explains the aesthetic tendencies of calligraphy and seal cutting of Gu Youquan.The paper studies from two major aspects. First, the calligraphy:the sort of calligraphy studied under Gu Youquan, and summed up the characteristics in Learning calligraphy , then focus on the Technique of writing and art of composition of Gu Youquan’s seal calligraphy.summarize the characteristics of the technique of writing tricks through comparing with Deng Shiru, Wu Changshuo Seal and others; second, Seal: analyze from the cases of graphic arts and graphic arts features, mainly to study graphic arts in seal method, composition, blade.Meanwhile, the paper also addresses the life and arts activities of Gu Youquan, summed up the influence of calligraphy and seal carving on Hubei Province area.
