Poetic Children Eye Rich Narrative

Children’s Perspective is a significant form. Throughout the history of Chinese and foreignliterature, Children’s Perspective is not only applied haphazardly by individual writers, it is nowalso one of the favourite writing strategies which are used by many writers including theChinese-Philippine writer Shi Liuying.There are two patterns when Shi Liuying uses theChildren’s Perspective to indite a novel: one, the children’s perspective is only used as anarrative strategy to display the helplessness, ugliness and tragedy in the adult’s world from thekids’ pure, equal and subtle eyes. Another, the “Children-basis” concept is returned to look atchildhood and hometown by a back posture,which is presented the writer’s intends to search forroots, love home and reconstruct the spiritual homeland. With the influence of the Children’sPerspective, their particular aesthetic meaning is revealed in Shi Liuying’s novels.There are six parts in this thesis. The first part is the Introduction in which the subject, thesignificance, the present situation and the development tendency are introduced. The studymethods and the framework of this research are also introduced in this part. In Chapter One, therelation between Children’s Perspective and literature is mainly talked about. Exploring theauthor’s psychological action mechanism when she uses the Children’s Perspective through theoccurrence of the children’s perspective narrative in Shi Liuying’s novels. In Chapter Two, thevarious life helpless and tragic themes are elaborated through the show of the adult worldunder the influence of innocence.In Chapter Three, the auther Shi liuying’s inner spiritual secretis explored through the analysis of the theme of the childhood no longer and rebuilding home.InChapter Four, what kind of aesthetics tradition that Shi Liuying revealed by applying theChildren Perspective narration method is discussed from her novel narrative wisdom which isreflected by the Children’s Perspective.Finally, the main points of this paper are summarized inthe Conclusion of this article which proposes the new horizon and forecast about Shi Liuying’snovel writing.
