The Protection And Remodeling Of Regional Characteristics In New Rural Construction

With the process of new rural construction and urbanization, the rural landscapehas undergone enormous changes, farmers’ living standards and conditions graduallyimproved. But the wave of new rural construction has also brought the impact of culture.Trends of semi-urbanization, which had led to feature missing between the rural andcity area, are increasingly showing. Many excellent rural folk and Intangible CulturalHeritage are disappearing, the regional characteristics have been to cut off andabandoned, it is hard to get back the sense of identity and belonging. Regionalcharacteristics are the products of interact between natural conditions, local culture,historical background, lifestyle and other factors in a specific time and space. How tomaintain and develop these features, to keeping them vigor and vitality during therenovation process should be the focus of the new rural construction.In this paper, we take the rural areas of Sichuan Basin as the research object, andsummarizes the elements such as the natural physical environment (natural environmentand the level of production) and social structure characteristic (system of social andcultural structure), which constituted the regional characteristics, and summed up thecharacteristics of the regional characteristics of the Sichuan Basin rural from these twoaspects. Finally, comparative study on the characteristic differences in different regionsof Sichuan Basin has summarized. Then this article researched the evolution process ofthe regional characteristics of the rural, and summarizes the main issues facing theregional characteristics of the new rural construction.On this basis, this paper studies the strategies and methods for the regionalcharacteristics protection and remodeling through the comparative analysis, combinedwith instance. Account that the protection and remodeling of the regional characteristicsshould focus on the integrity and characteristics, to strike a balance between protectionand development, the new rural construction can be able to onto a sustainable andunique development road.
