The translation study is of a long history, and at the same time, it is also a youngerdiscipline. Therefore, it should absorb theories of other related disciplines to enrichand develop itself and establish its own study approaches. In fact, the translation studyis a discipline which takes the languages as the studying object, so it is evident that itwill involve the linguistic knowledge and absorb the researching results of thelinguistics. The text linguistics has provided the theoretical ground and researchsupport for the translation study. Whether the language is translated from English toChinese or from Chinese to English, the translation object is the source text and thefinal product of translation is the target language. This paper lays great emphasis on the importance of the application of the sevenstandards of the text into the translation process. From the perspective of the textlinguistics, translation has not been carried out from the language itself any more, butfrom a macro language view. In this paper, the author makes analysis of the sevenprinciples of forming an integrated text one by one, and at the same time, the authorcites many examples to support his theories. Facing so many different translationtheories applied in the C-E/E-C translation, the author wants to tell the translator howto deal with the seven standards of the text and how to achieve translation equivalencebased on the different standards of the text.
