In our country, occupation education basic curriculum teaching is always a difficulty, theEnglish Teaching in higher vocational colleges is more such, vocational students’ knowledgelevel is low, plus no higher pressure of school, students lack of interest in learning, learningeffect is very poor.In today’s society, English has become an individual adaptation to thesociety and sustainable development of the basic qualities and skills, there is no doubt aboutthe importance of English learning.So be sure to find suitable teaching, arousing the interestof students, improve teaching quality, to students to learn, good results.The higher occupationeducation to train high technical talents, one belonging to the "higher education" trainingcategory, but also to highlight the occupation education is practical, focusing on abilitytraining.Aiming at this problem, this paper adopts the methods of literature research, comparativelaw, investigation method of the questionnaire and interviews and other research methods,based on the target oriented teaching method in Vocational English teaching problems werestudied.The thesis is composed of five chapters.The first chapter is the research background, thispaper mainly elaborates the research situation, research purpose, research significance andresearch methods.The second chapter mainly introduces the basic concept and basic theoryresearch.Humanism learning theory, constructivism learning theory provides us withtheoretical support.The third chapter elaborates on the English Teaching in Higher VocationalCollege Teaching Design and teaching case.This study selected the Jizhong Career AcademyEnglish special field college the second grade two classes of 88 students as subjects in theexperiments.One class as the experimental class, the other class control class.Theexperimental class for one semester of goal oriented teaching approach in English teaching tostimulate students’ interest in English learning and motivation.The fourth chapter before andafter the experiment test data was analyzed, the experimental results show that the objectoriented approach to English teaching can arouse the students’ learning motivation andinterest, help the students to improve their comprehensive english.Classroom teaching tomake full use of the computer, video, audio and other multimedia technologies, mobilizestudents’ active participation, active learning, and make the teaching goal to get betterrealization.The fifth chapter is the summary and Prospect of the teaching experimentalresearch, the author undertook reflection, and the future of Higher Vocational Englishteaching.
