Family is a main site of individuals growing, it plays avital role in the process of one’s growth and development. Inrecent years, China’s divorce rate rose sharply, which isleading more and more children to live in divorced families.Divorce, family breakdown made their children living indetrimental environments for their mental health developing.Therefore, to do the research of promoting the self-esteemand interpersonal trust of children in divorced families isnecessary and having a far-reaching significance.The Satir model’s biggest feature is, whom is focused onimproving individual’s self esteem, making one’scommunication better, helping people live more"user-friendly". The ultimate goal is helping people“physicaland psychological conforming, inside and outside identical”.Therefore, the people who care about personal growth anddevelopment potential are available in the process of learningthis mode.This thesis mainly probes into the influence of Satir modelgroup guidance for children in divorced families whoseself-esteem and interpersonal trust. And analysis and discussion on the guidance effect. This study selecting 30freshman to sophomore students from a vocational andtechnical college in Shanxi province. They are randomlydivided into an experimental group and a control group, usingsingle factor completely randomized experimental design.The experimental group participants have a period of 2months 8 times Satir model group guidance, each time have 2hours. The control group without intervention. This studycombining experimental and case reports method ,from boththe quantity and quality inspecting the influence effects ofSatir model group guidance for the children in divorcedfamilies whose self-esteem and interpersonal trust .It hasfilled the domestic blank in the Satir model in special groups.The research conclusions are as follows:(1) Children of divorced families’correlation betweenself-esteem and interpersonal trust has significantly.(2) The Satir model group guidance can be effective inenhancing the self-esteem and interpersonal trust level ofchildren in divorced families.(3) The Satir model increased self-esteem, improvedcommunication, helping individuals“physical andpsychological conforming, inside and outside identical”.Itmore fits the psychological needs of children in divorcedfamilies grow.(4) The program of Satir model group guidance ispractical. As intervention program, which can improveself-esteem and interpersonal trust, It is worthy of promotion.
