The Studied Of Athenian Industrial And Commercial In The Classical Period

The classical period is the golden age of a city-state historyof Athens. During this time, Athens’ industrial and commercialhas made great strides forward.This paper makes the classicalperiod for time limit, namely the 5th century BC to 4th century BCof Athens to expound this research, as well as discusses thecommercial and industrial development condition on this periodof the city-state of Athens. The author tries to make in-depth andcareful studies and analysis on several important parts, includingof the condition, the characteristic, the reason and influence ofthe commercial and industrial development.There are three parts in the thesis: the introduction, the textand conclusion. The introduction briefly introduces the conditionof the commercial and industrial development in the classicalperiod of the Athen state research and significance of choosingthis topic.The main text is divided into four parts. The first partanalyzes the condition of the commercial and industrialdevelopment in the classical period of the Athens. The second part makes a deeply study on the reason of the commercial andindustrial development. The features of Athens’ handicraftindustry and business development are discussed respectively inthe third part. The forth part analyzes the impact of Athens’commercial and industrial development on the Athenian Empire.Finally, the conclusion is drawn that the detailed research andanalysis are made in this paper on the study of classical period ofAthens’ commercial and industrial development, yet furtherresearch is still needed.
