The Relations Between Poems And Mystery Novels In Wei,Jin And The Southern And Northern Dynasties

Wei, Jin and the Southern and Northern Dynasties is the era of the Chinese literary consciousness, in which a variety of literary genre have made the rapid development, also brought a phenomena that they began to influence and blend each other. Lyric poetry and early novels struck up before the Qin Dynasty. However, The pursuit of ample knowledge and strange things inspited the fasion that literati created Mystery Novels in this period. Therefore it also acceletated the process of Mystery Novels’ stylistic maturity and mutual penetration with poetry.Involved in both the history of poetry and fiction, this paper analyzes the type and function of the poems in Mystery Novels during this period. In the mean time, this paper also interprets the mystery motif and mystery allusion in the poems. depthing the inherent relations between poems and Mystery Novels through analysis of literary style and the transmutation of motif and literary skills. This paper also attempts to provide new ideas to the study of poetry and Mystery Novels in this period.
