Study On Fable Poems In Pre-Qin, Han, Wei, Jin And Southern&Northern Dynasties

It’s very important for Chinese fable pomes’ development in Pre-Qin, Han,Wei, Jin and Southern&Northern Dynasties during which it experienced threestages of budding, developing and lingering. In this period, although it fell to bementioned with the booming ones from Tang Dynasty both in quantity and scale, asan important link in the developing link chain of Chinese fable poems they ownlasting artistic value. This paper was to study the fable poems in Pre-Qin, Han, Wei,Jin and Southern&Northern Dynasties and mainly discussed from the followingthree chapters:In Chapter I several issues on fable poems were discussed. To study fablepoems you should define the concepts first, and this chapter has sorted out,analyzed and summarized the existing studies to establish the connotation andextension of objects of study as well as discussing the relations and differencebetween fable poems, fables and chanting poems.Chapter II and III came to the subject study, also the body part of this paper.An overview of the development of fable poems in Pre-Qin, Han, Wei, Jin andSouthern&Northern Dynasties was first introduced in Section1of Chapter II,mainly reflected through quantitative statistics and chart analysis. Then it came tointroduction of its development periodicity, emergence of “Binfeng·ChiaoXiao ofthe Book of Songs”, the sprout of fable poems in Pre-Qin Dynasty, followed by thegrand development of Yuefu fable poems in Han Dynasty, and then expansion ofexpressing subjects, lingering and transition of fable poems in Wei, Jin andSouthern&Northern Dynasties. In Section2, causes for generation anddevelopment of fable poems in Pre-Qin, Han, Wei, Jin and Southern&NorthernDynasties were discussed separately inside and outside literature, historicalinheritance inside literature, influence of development of multiple literature styleson fable poems, lingering fantasy and fragrance of metaphor, euphemistic expressions of allegory coupled by chanting tradition of poems and circuitousreflection of social facts as well as writers’ individual factors.In Chapter III poems in Pre-Qin, Han, Wei, Jin and Southern&NorthernDynasties were studied mainly from two aspects of structural art and emotionexpressing types, during which combining forms mainly are divided into four types,free standing type, conversational type, suite type and antiphon type while there arethree types of emotion expressing, angering type, calm type and perception type.
