A Research On Zi-Based Theory In Syntactic Unit And Semantic Syntax

The Zi-Based Theory is a kind of new linguistic theory which is concluded from Chinese reality with certain academic background. In this theory, we can explore the rules of Chinese with Zi, which is the core of that language. After that, we can get the commonness of languages from the peculiarity of Chinese, and make the due contribution to general linguistics. There are three central views in Zi-Based Theory:1、"Zi" is the basic unit of Chinese; 2、Chinese is semantic language; 3、The framework of Chinese semantic syntax is "topic-comment".In this theory, "Zi" is the basic structure and grammatical unit of all languages, and it contains three essential characters:existence, division, and heart reality. On the one hand, we can divide Chinese grammatical units into three part:Zi, Zi-group, and Sentence On the other hand, we can regard Chinese lexical units as three different stuff:Zi, Ci, Kuai, Yu.. All these work is prepared for semantic syntax.. In order to found semantic syntax, it is necessary to master "automatic mode" and "causative mode". After this task, derived syntactical structure can be deduced with semantics, patterns, sound and pragmatics.
