The Moral Element Of Promoting China’s Low-carbon Life

The central committee of the party made a latest explanation of socialism on "promote conservative culture "and "Awareness of conservation will be firmly established in the whole of society" which was firstly put forward at the Seventeenth National Congress of Communist Party of China. Environment-friendly structure is a vital component when we promote conservative culture. In the present international negotiations about climate problems, which have basically become the interest disputes of china’s continued and high-speed development, and this promote low-carbon economy, low-carbon society and low-carbon life to be the important task in china’present development. In order to finish this task successfully, we should establish Awareness of conservation in the whole society, among them, a well moral consideration is the indispensable important guarantee to promote low-carbon life. This thesis made a systematic discussion from three aspects in low-carbon life: environmental morals, public morals and personal qualities.This thesis consists of three chapters. The first part mainly defines and discusses low-carbon and relevant low-carbon life definition, then generalize the characters of low-carbon life, they are advancement, continuity, and self-discipline, at the meantime, the meaning of low-carbon life was put forward:protecting the earth we living together consciously, promoting a sustainable and harmonious development, forming a healthy and civilized life style.The second chapter presents the moral factors which play an important role in china low-carbon life:environmental morals, public morals and personal qualities and so on. Environmental morals help to form an external material condition of low-carbon life; public morals help to shape a well social atmosphere, and personal qualities is an internal requirement.The third part is about the thinking that how to promote a low-carbon life effectively from the three aspects:environmental morals, public morals and personal qualities. That is to say we must shape moral force to advance the thinking of China’s low-carbon life. By strengthening the understanding of a series of moral mechanism, we must shape effective moral force; to broaden the application field of environmental morals in the low-carbon life; improve public morals consciousness of the society people; optimization of personal moral qualities.
