The Study Of Hedang Culture Installments And Lineage Relationship

Hedang culture is a kind of archaeological culture as a representative of Hedangsites of the Pearl River Delta region. This culture won the end of the kettle, short ringfoot tank, grabbing mouth platter beans as the basic combination of pottery, which alsoincludes a concave bottom tank with a flow tank, exposure platter beans, Asiankidney-shaped seat, won the bottom bowl and other important classes. Its subject agesroughly equivalent to the Xia and Shang and earlier stages of the Central Plains.In this paper, the study on the basis of a comprehensive collection of materials,using the method of combing the Stratigraphy and typology, grouping the typical siteswithin the region, establish a preliminary chronological sequence group and analysis ofother relics and chronological sequence groups correspond with each other relations.On the studing of typical pottery shapes and basic pottery combination, this paperdivided Hedang culture into four period and seven-segment. The ages of one to fourperiod, respectively the equivalent of the Central Plains region during the Longshanperiod late Erlitou period, on the occasion of the Xia and Shang to the early Shangperiod, the late Shang to early Western Zhou dynasty.On the basis of the installments, investigated Hedang culture of the origin andflow direction from the perspective of Pottery grouping. Thinking the Hedang relicsinherited Xiantouling cultural traditions, but also absorb some of the Shixia culture andHoushan culture.This expain that the sources and the formation process of Hedangculture is relatively complex. Subject to the limitations of existing materials, the finalflow of Hedang culture unclear.Through the analysis of cultural factors, it shows that The Hedang culture have aclose contacts and communication with Shixia culture,Hutoupu culture, Fubinculture and Jiaoshan type of the culture. In addition, the Hedang culture have animpact on the same period archaeological culture of Wuming region in its development process. All of these show that Hedang culture is a more open cultural system, indifferent stages of development, it always keep in touch with others archaeologicalculture, which aroud of the Hedang culture.
