An Investigation Report On The Thailand PAT7.4Admission Exam

With the fervor for learning Chinese, schools in every region of Thailand have established Chinese classes.Moreover, several universities have also opened Chinese department and Chinese education department. Even every secondary school has offered a Chinese Liberal Arts class.In2009, Thai Ministry of Education began to use the PAT aptitude test. There is an upward trend that more and more students take the Chinese PAT7.4test. But most students score low, with an average in the range of60.01-90.00.This investigation, therefore, focuses on why Thai students’scores were low and what their attitude toward the exam is.The survey result, the study then analyzes the present situation in the popularizing of PAT7.4test. It brings up some problems and needs further corresponding suggestions.
