The Reserches On Home Textile Display Design

Home textile product exhibition design belongs to exhibition design, developing with the vigorous development of exhibition activities and the changes of people’s life style. Based on the particularity of home textile product, this paper studies the product exhibition design method and analyzes four exhibition themes, providing thinking direction for the exhibition of home textile.First of all, this thesis expounds the types and material characteristics of the home textile product. Material characteristics contains softness, plasticity and transparence. Three kinds of home textile product styles including Chinese style, Europe style and modern style are introduced in detail, whose graphics, colors and patterns have respective characteristics.Secondly, the basic design method of home textile product exhibition is discussed deeply from space, lighting, color, display and exhibit, using the literature analysis method, field investigation method and the analogy induction. Specially, the display and exhibit are points of the design. The paper summarizes three types of display method and seven kinds of exhibit technique, which highlight the characteristics of home textile product exhibition design, and then discusses four styles of exhibition themes. At the same time the theme of a special wedding home textile exhibition design is researched from two aspects, including space build and display collocation, and then summarizes different methods to build a home textile exhibition theme.Thirdly, It also discusses display subjects, including china style、 European style and modern style. In addition, the thesis discusses wedding products. Thinking about culture root, the thesis emphasizes furnishings and displaying. In the end, it sums up different methods and skills.Finally, this thesis makes display design case studies according to MengJie Chinese home textile style and Dohia modern textile style, and have a design practice by a wedding home textile design.
