The Discussion Based On The Research Of Caocao During The Period Of The Republic Of China

Caocao, a famous historical figure in the period of Three-Kingdom in China.He also had a good reputation in politics and military. What’s more, he was one of the most important founders of Jian’an Literary. According to the materials we have, we can see that there are lots of works focusing on the person during the past several hundred years. In the new century, some researchers usually ignore the importance of those works belonging to the period of the Republic of China when they review the previous research works focusing on Caocao. However, the research should not be given a cold shoulder indeed. Generally speaking, if we can pay much attention to the research works mentioned above, it may bring us to a new altitude in the new era. And we believe that the research being done may have some reference value for our academic history in the near future.By collecting, reading and analyzing those original materials we collected, we hope to reveal the overlook of the research work on Caocao during the period of the Republic of China in the paper. We also look forward to catching the main research-character of the period and to finding the cause of it from the perspectives of Chinese modern society and academic trends.The paper is composed of three parts, the introduction, the main part and the conclusion. The preface briefly introduces the current situation in Cao Cao-research status of the Republic of China. The main part contains five chapters. The first chapter is consisted of two parts, the understanding about Caocao and the research summary on the person in the period of late Qing dynasty and the Republic of China. The second chapter starts with the person’s political activities, economic activities and military activities. We hope that we can draw an outline of a clear contour of the Republic of China on the person’s social-historical activities through the work. The third chapter is composed of three parts by the poem research of Caocao, a comparison between Three Cao, Caocao’s status and influence to the literary creation, the settlement of document about the person. The work may give us a systematic knowledge about his literary creation. In the forth chapter, based on the former two chapters, we summarize Cao Cao’s literary characters as Scientific, Two ways in the literary and history and Integrated. In the fifth chapter, we discuss the person from two angles, the background of the modern society and the academic trends of that time. Meanwhile, the rise of the nationalism ethos and Marxism historical materialism are the two important factors affecting the research of the person, which should not be missed. The conclusion emphasize the gains and losses of Caocao-research during the period of the Republic of China.Overall, the perspectives, fields and methods have been expanded, though it is obviously imbalance the Caocao-research during the period of the Republic of China. However, it is still not enough research for Cao Cao’s lifetime, family background and other basic issues.
