With the increase of the New Overseas Chinese immigrants, Chinese education for Chinese adolescents is growing. How to effectively improve their Chinese and identity has become the special responsibility and glorious mission for many youth activities centers. The article specifically focuses on Chinese education of those Chinese adolescents in Zhejiang province, based on the rich experience and teaching materials from the Chinese camp which is held by Hangzhou Youth Activity Center every year. By a questionnaire survey, it explores the Chinese learning situation and demand characteristics of this group, with reference to domestic and international foreign language/second language learning needs analysis theory and practical experience. This research, especially focuses on different social and family backgrounds of those Chinese young people in Zhejiang province, on different Chinese-learning motivations, diverse feelings after short-term Chinese study in china, and on various study efficiency after training. From careful analysis of the research, we draw the conclusion:social needs and cultures of their migration country and hometown of the learners will cause differences in their learning style andpreferences for learning content. The problem for those learners is mainly concentrated on Chinese character writing. Their listening and speaking abilities are significantly better than reading and writing skills; their demand for comprehensive curricula is much higher than the demand for knowledge-based courses; They tend to be more interested in some interesting materials. As a result, aiming at how to hold an excellent Chinese Camp, we propose a series of concrete and practical advice on curriculum design, teaching materials, textbook selection, teaching methods, personnel management, and even planning at the end of this article.
