In the early Qing Dynasty, the“villain" image research in thenovel of Caizi-Jiaren, only in the relevant monographs are outlinedin type of reading, only three articles, and papers are completelyabsent. While knowing that knowledge is limited, I still want to do amore comprehensive analysis for the "villain" image and hope theresearch will add a new type for the novel of Caizi-Jiaren personageGallery.The paper was divided into five parts: the introduction aimed atcombing the early Qing novel research history and current status ofthe Caizi-Jiaren and at the same time pointed out the value of"villain" image.The first part we cleared the connotation of" villain" and did acarpet search for the "Villain" in the massive Caizi-Jiaren novels ofearly Qing and list overview. On this basis we would sort them intofive categories. We did the analysis as detailed as possible from theheartless, unjust, rude, treacherous four aspects of the "villain"character.The second part is focus on artistic interpretation of the"villain" image. First of all, starting from the beauty and uglinesscontrast and naming design, interpret the aesthetic design of the image of the "villain". Secondly, from two levels of satire andpsychological descriptions, we can analyze the unique feature ofthe "villain" image building. Thirdly, to explore the artistic functionof the "villain" in the text, pointing out that the "villain" aestheticvalue of characterization, narration, highlighting the theme of thenovel, aesthetic defamiliarization and entertainment. At last, fill theartistic shortcomings of the "villain" image.The third part carried out social and cultural interpretation ofthe image of the "villain". Analyze the "villain" cultural gene fromboth history and reality of stigma in order to reveal the deepmotivation of the existence of "villain" and their behavior.The last part, we summarize the general research contents, andpointed out the shortages of the paper.
