Analysis On The Difference Of Regional Urbanization Of Shanxi Province

Urbanization is not only an important symbol of humancivilization progress, but also a vital stage of productivitydevelopment. The urbanization is a dynamic process of the richdiversity of connotation, which reflects the city’s populationdevelopment level, economic development, social development,structure of ecological environmental quality, infrastructure level,people life style and city culture accomplishment. Since ThePeople’s Republic of China was founded, a number of cities havegrowen in Shanxi Province from 1 locally administratered level in1949 to 11 cities currently and urban size has also expendedcontinually. When the national urbanization blots out the sky sweptby, Shanxi Province has the convenience of urbanization andadvantage in its own in the urbanization, which still faces theurbanization development because of the difference of the districtof the trigger. Firstly this paper will introduce research background,significance, content and methods. Secondly, the concept and therelated theory of urbanization will be introuduced. Thirdly, thedevelopment of urbanization in Shanxi Province will be reviewed inthis paper. Forthly, through the construction of the indicator system of urbanization, the measure of the urbanization development levelindex and data, and by using the principal component analysismethod of SPSS, the qualitative and quantitative analysis tend to beengaged in, according to the comprehensive level of urbanization inShanxi Province 11 administrative region difference classificationand regional differences analysis, in order to understand thereasons caused the regional differences. Finally it will be putforward some practical significance to promote the coordinateddevelopment of urbanization area of the measures and Suggestionsfor the development of shanxi urbanization better providetheoretical reference.
