In this essay, the writer discusses something about Chinese and Thai modifier, the attributives and the adverbials. On the basis of collected Thai student’ linguistic materials and using others’research achievements obtained, this essay that the writer uses Inter-language Theory, Acquisition Theory, Contrastive Analysis, Error Analysis and so on. Meanwhile the writer compares some differences of the modifier that is Chinese language and Thai language from the grammar structures, the order and the type of the modifier. The result is that in Chinese, the modifier is in front of the central words, while in Thai language the modifier is behind the central words.This thesis applies some theories of linguistic. The author’s used Thai students’ linguistic example which they put attributes and adverbials in a wrong word orders in Chinese. The Thai students were suffered from their mother language that to place attributes and adverbials after central words in Chinese. Beside that the errors in the order of multiple attributes and adverbials, it includes that the "negative transfer" of the word, the order of the mother language(Thai language) and the lack understanding of the characteristics of the word orders between Chinese languages and Thai languages.At last, the thesis writer gives some suggestions for teaching Thai students to learn Chinese, especially the errors which Thai students do learn and use Chinese attributives and adverbials. The writer wishes that this thesis will provide some useful things for teaching the attributives and adverbials of Chinese to Thai students.
