This paper, with an aim to clarify the differences in the usages of multiple attributes in both English and Chinese, mainly focuses on the comparison of them and their uses. In the paper, I try to figure out the reason behind incorrect usages in the study and uses of multiple attributes among the English-speaking students and make a systematic teaching plan and strategy based on it so as to make contribution for the solving of the practical problems in the Chinese-teaching work to foreign students.English and Chinese are two major worldwide languages, and English is now the most popular language in the whole world. The students with English as their mother language consist of the main receptor group of our Chinese-teaching work. While English and Chinese belong to different language families, the sentences and syntaxes are greatly different, so do the expressions and ways of thinking. Furthermore,as to syntaxes and constructing of sentences in the two languages, the difference between the overseas students with English as their mother tongue and Chinese native students is very large. The difference of the multiple attributes in the two languages is one of the most difficult problems for the English-speaking students. The thesis mainly studies the cases of English-speaking students, and by the comparison between the grammar of English and Chinese, it summarizes the laws in the study of multiple attributes so as to constructa teaching plan abiding by them and solve the specific problems about the order of multiple attributes in the practice of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
