With the high speed development and sustainable growth of economy recent years, China’s world position changes a lot quietly. More and more foreigners pay more attention on China while more and more people begin to study Chinese. The emergence of this phenomenon is known as "enthusiasm in learning Chinese". A large number of foreigners from all over the world spend a long or short time learning Chinese with different purpose. At the same time, Hanban also dispatch a multitude of volunteers many countries in order to improve the shortages of Chinese teacher. Therefore the teaching methods and content of Chinese teaching as a second language have been revised and completed under this huge demand. We accumulated the rich theoretical basis and teaching experience. But with the deep study of Chinese, culture learning becomes more and more important. The middle and senior learners need to understand the language and the culture behind them, and thus to better use the language. It is clear that overseas students choose to study Chinese in China because here can provide a better culture environment. We can see the culture teaching is absolutely crucial to the language learning. Every word and sentence contains a lot of culture background. So it is very important to take culture teaching seriously in Chinese teaching as a second language. The principles and method of culture teaching should be the main point of this discussion.
