| Packaging is closely linked with our life, and it plays a crucial role in our daily life. With the improvement of living standards, people also raised new requirements on packaging, the forms of packaging keeping changing with the development of the whole society. Food packaging with the theme of green, healthy, the returning of nature, sustainable development, hommization, etc, has been becoming more and more popular with people. As a result, the designers are keen to promote the natural elements, making use of natural materials with high regeneration ability to realize the ecology design of food package. Bionic design of food packaging design is another source of inspiration, but how to make the package more innovative needs more consideration in the utilization process.This thesis mainly has four objectives:(1) try to search the design elements which can be referred to in the food packaging through the study of the characteristics of natural biology such as "form","structure","functions","color","texture" and so on;(2) to establish a set of basic design methods of food packaging so that the bionic design in nature can better appear in food packaging;(3) to generalize the aesthetic appreciation of people through the bionic food packaging;(4)to predict the developing trends of bionic food packaging.In order to achieve the expected objectives,203pieces of bionic food packaging pictures have been obtained through sorting out the relevant data and documents and investigating the network pictures and the market pictures. According to the properties and types of the food, these pictures can be classified. Based on the investigation and the analysis, the application of bionic design in food packaging can be classified as: bionics, bionic structure, bionic function, texture bionic and color bionic in this thesis. Through the study of a number of actual cases of food packaging both home and abroad, this thesis will deeply analyze the bionic design-elements in food packaging, among which the application of form, texture and color are quite common in food packaging.I have collected a large number of literature and books related to this topic, and then I carefully read and chose these documents to get a comprehensive understanding of bionics, bionic design, packaging design, psychology, aesthetics, ergonomics and other related subjects. By concluding the existing bionic food packaging, this thesis tries to establish a set of basic design methods in bionic food packaging. According to the data and market investigation, this thesis has already analyzed the influence of bionic design on the form of packaging, materials, process and other aspects of food packaging and the cultural concept. And through the comparison of the sales volume of the bionic packaging and general packaging of the same food, we find that people will have different preferences on packaging to different food. Based on this, a prediction of the bionic food packaging in future has been made. |
