Jingpo nationality is one of the unique ethnic minority in Yunnan province, is aUnited and harmonious nation, originated in the northern part of the Qinghai—Tibetplateau and gradually settled in the late 17th century in the vicinity of Dehong,Yunnan mountainous area, it is known as“son of the mountains, sons and daughtersof the Sun”. The unique geographical advantage; and the mountains are rich in naturalingredients and special fruits, for Jingpo nationality has brought enormous naturalwealth, it had an extremely far—reaching impact on diet culture for Jingpo nationality.Its Green and healthy eating practices for a long time, and gradually formed a uniquefood culture.Through the diet culture of Jingpo nationality-related background studies,ecological environmental protection in Jingpo nationality was passed further to thepublic ahead of the idea, advocate the Jingpo green healthy lifestyle, promoting theirethnic’s special food, from the Jingpo’s special food packaging design to seeking abroader vision of design.Through field research and related information lookup, first elaborated thearticle referred to Dehong Jingpo specialty food on the scope and content, thenanalyze the status of the Dehong Jingpo specialty food packaging design, andhorizontal comparison analysis of the part special food packaging design ofdomestic and foreign, drawing on its outstanding packaging design experience.According to market demand, the article will from the packaging’s visual elements:pattern、color、text and texture, appearance and packaging forms to design Jingpo’sspecial food packaging. Use of environmental protection paper material and DehongJingpo mountain’s natural plant material, as a design element injected into theJingpo’s special food packaging design, incorporate green design concepts, and tofollow the design principle 3R1D, to design the Jingpo’s special food packagingdesign, fully reflect the cultural and economic value of packaging design.Completed research achievements on stages in packaging design of premisedesign results and practical value through the social and market for the second argument, more mature form the final packaging products, food packaging put on thenational culture of Dehong Jingpo’s special food“married clothes”and more culturaltaste. Allow more consumers enjoy the Jingpo’s special foods, and feeling its richethnic customs, thereby pulling the Jingpo’s“mountain economy”. So that morevisitors and consumers at home and abroad, through package between the Jingpo’sfood square inch, spread Jingpo green and healthy food culture, while they tastes theJingpo’s delicious, will gives off a unique charm of its national food culture,gradually focus on and understand the Red land in Dehong Prefecture, Yunnanprovince, on the oldest minority——Jingpo nationality.
