The features and the evolvement of black glaze porcelain during the Song, Liao, Jin period were under a mess situation.For study on this subject,the dissertation collected the materials about black glaze porcelain of the provinces in north area.Baced on the typology researchs, with the achievement of other scholars.The periodization and regionalization is the mean content of this dissertation.Dissertation is divide into five parts.Part one:Archaeological discoveries and the review of the researchs before.Defined the space-time district, reviewed the steps of research on the black glaze porcelain during the Song Liao Jin period.Divided it into two stages, the first starts from the beginning of the20th century to1970s, the second starts1080s till nowadays. The first one was focused on the generality summary; second one was focused on the particular regions or manufactures.Part two:Regional type of north area.According to the differences of the objects types between the unearthed black glaze porcelain. Can separat into to five production parts:Northeast and eastern Inner Mongolia region, Shanxi Province (Covers the central and western regions of Inner Mongolia, Hebei, north-central area (covering the Beijing-Tianjin region), Central Plains region (including southern Hebei, Henan, Shandong, Anhui and northern regions), and Shaanxi province. The production and the propagation of the black glaze porcelain in each region was unique.Part three:Periodization and propagation of the black glaze porcelain in northern.According to the summary of the regiaonal production. There is a outline about periodization of the black glaze porcelain in northern:Early age of Song, Liao Dynasty (mid-10th century to11th century). The initial development period, lower quantity and simple types and decorative methods. Late age of Song Dynasty (11th century to the mid-12th century) to the beginning of Jin Dynasty. Be affected by the aesthetic sence of the literatis and the social extravagant atmosphere, the exquisite Ding kiln-site and the counterfeit Jian kiln-site porcelain were very popular. The late Jin Dynasty(first half of the12th century to the13th century). The simple and practical black glaze porcelain was the typical characteristic. The products with CiZhou kiln-site style which was decorated on folkways were popular.Part four:Research on related issues.Focused on the propagation of the black glaze porcelain in northern, and the black glaze porcelain in southern were unearthed at north area. Find that is consistent to the Tea fight customs and the trade records in literature. Through the research on pop era, the kilns distribution, process characteristics, and the objects types of the black glaze porcelain in northern, and the comparative analysis between the manufactures from Kilns in northern and southern. To discuss the communications and influences of black glaze porcelain’s production technology.Part five:Conclusion.The summary of the dissertation. Put forward the limitations and the some unresolved Issues.
