As the enthusiasm in learning Chinese increase, the career of teachingChinese as a foreign language (TCFL) is in the cause of vigorous development.Vocabulary teaching is the important content of the language elements teaching,the status of which in teaching Chinese as a foreign language is more and moreoutstanding. The studies of vocabulary teaching, whether from the breadth orthe depth,have had great progress, but the problems and disadvantages stillexist. For example, ontology research is insufficient, the study of theory has notbeen well into teaching practice, the oversea teaching of Chinese had not gotenough attention, etc.This paper makes a systematic review and analysis of the present situationof vocabulary teaching in TCFL, aims to further highlight the important role ofthe vocabulary teaching. Based on the one year work experience and the studyof vocabulary teaching in TCFL,the author has summarized Chinesevocabulary teaching of Yucai Middle School of Mongolia, made the detailedanalysis of the advantages and disadvantages, and concluded some teachingmodel and method,which is worthy of reference, and also found that someareas are in need of improvement.Through the case study, this paper aims to provide some help to furtherimprove the vocabulary teaching of Yucai Middle School, and find out moreeffective vocabulary teaching rules, so as to promote the improvement of thevocabulary teaching. At the same time, the author also hopes that through thestudy, this paper can improve the academic attention of the teaching Chineseas a foreign language overseas, and strengthen contrast research of the domestic and oversea teaching Chinese as a foreign language and use forreference each other.
