With the vigorous rise of the Chinese influence in the international arena, the craze of learning Chinese worldwide getting rapid warming. South Korea, which as a Confucian cultural influenced country, the grand re-emergence of Chinese learning is quick-developing. And the Institutions of higher learning of the Chinese wind slowly blowing in the elementary schools, more and. more children began to getting knowing to China, learning Chinese. Therefore, schools and parents are finding ways to provide more conditions and resources to support their children to learn Chinese language, and foreign language education in elementary schools quickly developed. This paper has studied the Chinese studying and teaching in elementary Schools in Busan city of Korea for a better understanding of the development of the South Korean Chinese language education in order to support the late educator and volunteer teachers in this new area, and also be beneficial to the development of Chinese education. This paper is divided into four parts:The first chapter is a brief introduction on the basis of Korea’s profile and educational background, an overview of the situation on the Korean elementary school Chinese language education, and pointed out that the purpose of this paper, methods and significance.The second chapter analyzed a basic overview of the Chinese primary schools from the teachers, teaching materials, course set in Busan City.The third chapter studied the basic profiles in elementary schools in Busan from three aspects: conditions for learning, motivation, the students’learning interest and graduation.The fourth chapter summarized and analyzed the problems in the process of Chinese learning in Busan City elementary schools, and also made some suggestions.In short, the situation that Chinese education developing in Busan elementary schools shows the rapid development in Korea and would have a prospect which attracted the government and parents’attentions. However, there are some problems to be further improved.
