Since ancient times, Korea and China have had close links and similar cultural backgrounds. In Korea, due to the growing demand of Chinese learning, I was selected by Hanban and the Busan Office of Education to be a Chinese teacher at an elementary school in Busan, Korea.According to half a year of internship teaching experience, the system summarizes how to teach Chinese to the pupils in Korea. In this paper, with Haegang Elementary School in Busan, Korea as an example of how to proceed in the elementary schools in Korea, I will discuss communication and teaching situations of Chinese in Korea elementary schools.Using my six months teaching experience in elementary school as an example, I will detail an introduction to Chinese teaching in elementary schools in Korea. From the selection and compilation of teaching and development materials, to the arrangement of teaching content and a variety of teaching methods used, a detailed analysis will be provided.Classroom management methods are also summarized in the paper to clarify a number of Chinese teaching ways and means for elementary schools in Korea. The outline of my experience and all methods covered will aid the improvement of Chinese teaching, and thus reach the fundamental purpose of the dissemination of Chinese culture.
