The Research On The Comprehensive Evaluation And Strategy Of Development For The Cultural Industry In Hunan Province

Cultural industry owns different title and different content in different countries, which means those industries that provide cultural, entertainment products and services for the community, as well as the union of their related industries. Cultural industry belongs to a complicated multi-level open system that includes three levels. That is, the core layer, the external layer and the associated layers.Cultural industry, the soft power of development of a country (region), has developed unprecedentedly since the second half of the 20th century. It has become the new economic growth order of the 21st century and one of the pillar industries of national economy. Moreover, the development of cultural industry is regarded as an important component of national development for a great many dignitaries and scholars at home and abroad. Hunan province is a great cultural province, and its cultural industry is developing with fast-speed. In 2008, it became one of the five provinces where the proportion of cultural industrial added value in GDP exceeds 5%, and animation and television broadcasting, the leading industry, are taking off. In order to create a greater cultural province, the study about the development of cultural industry in Hunan province can not be ignored, but it should be imperative and urgent.All in all, the author of this thesis puts the development of cultural industry in Hunan Province as the research object, and gives the answers for several questions about the level of development of cultural industry in Hunan province, its advantages and weaknesses, the trend of development in future and the policies that should be adopted. The answers to these questions have very important theoretical and practical significance to the development of the cultural industry in Hunan province. However, as for a new industry, the cultural industry covers a lot, and it is difficult to count its data. Therefore, most of the studies are only from qualitative perspective. This thesis is divided into seven parts. In the first part, the author clarifies the background and significance of this study, current research trends, methods and technical routes at home and abroad. In the second part, the author of this thesis introduces the basic theory of cultural industry, including the definition, characteristic and function. In the third part, the author analyses the status of development and characteristic of the cultural industry from several different perspectives in Hunan Province. The fourth,fifth and sixth parts are the cores of this thesis. Firstly, according to experts'scoring, the author uses fuzzy mathematics to conduct a comprehensive evaluation about the development of cultural industry in Hunan Province on the basis of the evaluation index of cultural industry which we construct; secondly, based on the result of evaluation, the author of this thesis conducts SWOT analysis and forecasts the trend of development of cultural industry in future, and finally, through the analysis towards advantage,weakness,opportunity and challenge, the author of this thesis puts forward several pieces of suggestions to develop the cultural industry in Hunan province from multi-levels such as government,industry and corporation. In the seventh part, the author gives conclusions for this paper and points forward shortcoming of the paper.
