The Military Competition Between Tibet And Uighur In The Hstorical Grography Of The Xiyu And Hexi-Longyou In The Tang Dynasty

Abstract:Both of Tibet and Uighur have a long history.They are minority and very active in Tang Dynasty. In the early of Tang Dynasty, the Hstorical Grography of the Xiyu and Hexi-Longyou were controlled by Tang Dynasty, although Tibet and Uighur has some sporadic contact,these two minorities have not many contradictions and contacts due to the geographical isolation.However, after the cataclysmic An Shi Rebellion,those Elite Force who were stationed in these area are assigned to Central Plains.Thus,these area were occupied by Tibet, then Tibet lock their target to the Hstorical Grography of the Xiyu At,the same time, Uighur’s power also get into the region of TianShan Mountain when Tang Dynasty’s powered politcs recession in the Hstorical Grography of the Xiyu.Therefore, so the two race began to have a conflict of interest.Their relationships has also begins by indirect to direct.Then,they are launch a war around Xiyu and Hexi-Longyou in many decades.In the beginning,Tibet get the victory one after another in BeiTing area,but Uighur get the victory in the battle which happened in YunHeHu area in791A.D.,then continue to enlarge results to battle.Later in the war,both sides continue to focus on some military town to complete,such as XiZhou LiangZhou and Kucha etc.After the war,they are tired out.Finally,after the ChangQing Alliance,Tibet and Uighur sit at the negotiating table,performed an alliance activity which has the nature of truce. So far, the Tibet firmly in control of the southern region of the Hstorical Grography of the Xiyu and the Hexi-Longyou.The Uighur in control of the north of the Xiyu.In the middle of the9Century, the unified regime of the Uighur and Tibet were collapse one after another.Both of them were entered into a new historical period.
