“越来越X’’is the development of the chain format of“越……越”,and it is a fixed format. It is widely used. In the teaching of Chinese as a second language area, it is also an important grammar in primary stage. But there is not much focus on this important grammar point. When we do the corpus collection, we find that there are many kinds of problems when students learn this format. Therefore, we try to analyze these problems in order to improve the leaning and teaching of“越来越X”. From this thesis, we study based on the achievements about the Mandarin Chinese area, and combined with the theories of second language.This paper divides into five parts:In the first part, we introduce why we choose this subject, determine our research scope he research methods, and which corpus we used.In the second part, we review the present situation on this thesis both from the Mandarin Chinese area and the teaching of Chinese as a second language.The third part summarizes the errors of the foreign students when they are using the“越来越”, which based on the collection of the interlingua corpus.The forth part is the analysis of the error reason from the internal causes of the learners and the external causes of the textbooks and teachers.Chapter five discusses the teaching. We investigate four kinds of grammar outlines and compare two teaching textbooks. After this analyze, we offer some suggestions of teaching.At last, in the epilogue, we summarize the text. Due to a lack of experience in teaching, we also put forward some disadvantages of this paper.
