Verb-object combination combines period - time word,that is the format of '"V+O'+T", the common transforms "V+O+T", "V+T+(的)+O", "V+O+V+T" are the focal points for the foreign students who learn Chinese. This article systematically studied the three formats form the aspects of syntactic level, semantic level, pragmatic level, summarized the error types, analysised the error reasons, then proposed the corresponding teaching strategies and teaching methods. This paper is divided into four chapters.The first part summarized the previous research achievements about the three formats from the perspectives of research on quantifier itself and quantifier in Chinese-teaching for non-Chinese speakers.The second part systematically analysised and studied the three formats from the aspects of syntactic level, semantic level, pragmatic level. The syntactic level studied the form that the format forms the sentences, limited conditions that forms the sentence, and studied two important function words"的","了".The pragmatic level analysized from the aspect of pragmatic-point, the period-time word in the format "V+O+T" and "V+O+V+T" points the event of "V+0", the period-time word in the format "V+T+(的)+O "points the verb"V"; The pragmatic level studied the specific communicate functions of the forms. The format of "V+O+T" has the meaning that speaker thinks the period-time word is very long. The form of "V+T+(的)+0" has the function of emphasizing the noun and the period-time word. The format of "V+O+V+T" has the function of emphasizing the event is very long.The third part, according to the error examples we had collected, we extracted the error examples about the three formats and generalized four error types about this three formats:the wrong order, the missing and adding of "了", the missing and adding of "的",the wrong using of formats. At the same time, we revealed the reasons of these errors.The fourth part, based on error analysis, we proposed the teaching methods of designing context, put emphasis on exercise,spiral-teaching meathods.
