Actors had poor social status in Chinese traditional culture consciousness, this situation had not been fundamentally reversed in the long several thousand years history until the late Qing Dynasty early ROC was there a great promotion, actors became shiny stars in the amusement circles from once" humble professionals ". This article combine of late Qing Dynasty’s anthography, tunes, journalisms, advertisements, newspapers and historical materials as well as a large number of actor biographies, explore the phenomenon of actors’idolization and the upgrade of their social status from the perspective of propaganda.The introduction describes the art of Beijing Opera in the northern activity center--Beijing, and south center--Shanghai, and aimed at the Beijing opera art development condition and the actors’social position promotion in the two cities, make overall description from political and business perspective in the entertainment industry.The first chapter still aims at Beijing and Shanghai these two opera activity center cities, distinguish descript from the region of Peking opera operations. The whole chapter studies through the theaters (Institutes) and the troupes in the late Qing early ROC and the relations between two, reappears the operation of theaters (Institutes) and the troupes south and north at that time, explores the process of the market trend through the Beijing and Shanghai’s audience research,.The second chapter studies the Peking opera VS actors for different propaganda modes in the late Qing Dynasty early ROC as the object. Sectional explore the playbills and posters, music, florilegium, newspapers, advertisements and dramatic criticisms, as well as the writers or writers collective" hold character" and other means of propagandas. The involved propaganda ways basically order as the process of the history development (there are crossing parallels also), and one single propaganda changed its form and content with the pass of time, It is in all of the above changes we inference the thesis of idolization of actors and the upgrade of their social status.The third chapter studies the propaganda body of Peking opera VS actors in the late Qing early ROC as the object, explores the relationship between writers and actors and generalize its for" love and write at random, ambiguous attitudes of friends on the earth, the friendly exchanges between the mutually beneficial cooperation, backstage planning director" in four different stages. The four levels are basically order as the process of the history development (there are crossing parallels also), during this evolution, actors attached to the literati scholars gradually shifts to the reverse direction, reveals the idolization of actors and the driver factors of their social status upgrade.
