Paper-cut is a Chinese traditional art. It’s a folk art and came from the private sector. This paper, based on the analysis of paper-cut art. Through to the advertisement, survey market, classified analysis, contrast and summarized, I found that current paper-cut performance remained relatively monotonous. Because of this situation, I put forward the paper-cut form AD design for innovation research topicThe core argument of this paper is art forms of expression. Specifically, the graphic form, color manifestations, picture composition, Textures of paper-cut. Mainly focusing on the core argument, I research on paper-cut’s advertisement performance of our country and abroad to find out the problems, and around the paper-cut four core problems, combined with the overseas modern excellent advertising design method research that domestic paper-cut form AD design method of innovation.The paper is divided into five chapters, the first chapter is the introductionsection; it’s about the background of selected topic, the present situation of the research at home and abroad, the objects, the subjects and the significance of this research. The second chapter is about the summary of plane design and paper-cut. The third chapter is about paper-cut art form of analysis. At the beginning of this part, I discuss the problems of the art form, and then I identify and analyze the paper-cut form of various aspects, the color composition (format) and material form. The fourth chapter detailed analysis of domestic and international paper-cut’s form, and summarize the domestic paper-cut’s problems. The fifth chapter is the basis of the fourth chapter, according to domestic paper-cut aesthetic factors and features, combines the advanced design methods, and concludes that the core of this study, that is, use the paper-cut’s graphic, color, format and texture and so on to deduce the conclusion the new method of plane design.In the end, the main basis for the theory of Marxism labor and production practice, Gestalt psychology, the art of aesthetic thinking, Western visual design methods of this thesis is the main theoretical approaches. Should be noted that the core of this paper is the paper-cut form of print ads, the image characteristics of paper-cut, visual aesthetic, thinking, modeling, modeling techniques and other more in-depth study.
