The production and the development of Jingdezhen white porcelain in FiveDynasties and Ten Kingdoms Period formed a connected link between the precedingand the following during the whole history of China’s ceramic developmentprocess.To fully understanding the historical development of jingdezhen ceramics andthe formation of Jingdezhen center,we have to research the development history ofjingdezhen white porcelain in Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms Period.But in manyyears, Related research in academic circles have failed to cause enough attention.This text is on the basis of inheriting predecessors’ research achievements,through integrating the unearthed artifacts and burial of the archaeological data,combing the kiln distribution, production process, production relations and the marketsales of Jingdezhen white porcelain in Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms Period.Discussing mutual influence, and common progress of the relationship between thejingdezhen white porcelain and northern ceramics technology in the historybackground of the handover period of tang and song dynasty. And putting forward thefollowing issues:first of all, the definition of white porcelain and green whiteporcelain conception, Secondly, the origin of jingdezhen white porcelain. Thirdly, thebackground, production situation and stages of jingdezhen white porcelain, and othercomprehensive research of the problem.This text is aimed at restoring the face of jingdezhen during the Five Dynastiesand Ten Kingdoms Period by discussing the production scale, the product quantityand type, production organization form, product sales and use class, to advancing theresearch on jingdezhen ceramic history.
